Outstanding Women of Color Awards Honor Six Women for Exceptional Contributions to Their Communities
Surrounded by family, friends, colleagues, mentors and others, six remarkable women were celebrated on Thursday, March 7th. The women – faculty and graduate students – were honored with the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s Outstanding Women of Color award in recognition of their leadership in advancing social justice.

The twelfth cohort of Outstanding Women of Color awardees will be honored at a reception on Thursday, March 5, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the Alumni Lounge of the Pyle Center, 716 Langdon St. The event is free and open to the campus and community.
