The Boys & Girls Clubs of Dane County (BGCDC) will host the 20th annual MOVE4BGC July 16, bringing family, friends, co-workers and neighbors together to promote active, healthy lifestyles and raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs.

The event will kick off in the morning on July 16 at McKee Farms Park in Fitchburg with the annual BGCDC bike ride. Participants choose to be part of a team or at the individual level and which event they would like to do whether it be a 50-mile bike ride, 25-mile bike ride, 8-mile bike ride, 5K run/walk, 2-mile walk or yoga.

In the evening, Gladys Knight, the eight-time Grammy winning empress of soul, will perform along with the R&B group After 7 and others. After the concert there will be an All White Party at the Overture Center featuring musical guest Dru Hill. Tickets to the White Party includes entertainment, appetizers, a photo booth and more.

The MOVE4BGC fundraising goal is to raise $700,000 to support its programs for pathways to success for the youth ages 2.5 to 24 in Dane County. The UW–Madison Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement is a proud sponsor of the 20th annual MOVE4BGC.
