Vice Provost & Chief Diversity Officer Program seeks lead graduate intern for 2017-2018

The Division of Diversity, Equity, and Educational Achievement (DDEEA) is looking for Interns. The DDEEA’s internship program aims to provide students with experience in diversity work at a public institution and give students tools to grow personally and professionally. Interns will build professional connections across campus and gain knowledge on the intricate organizational structure of UW-Madison administration. DDEEA’s internship program demands a focused, creative, fast-paced, and organized work ethic.

The internship program within DDEEA gives interns the opportunity to participate in work that makes campus a more inclusive space for their peers and future students of all identity groups. Listed below are some of the components of the internship program.

We seek are seeking graduate students who are dedicated to promoting and creating a diverse and inclusive environment at UW-Madison, have excellent organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, an ability to work effectively independently and in a team, a willingness to work events in the evenings, who have a proficiency with Microsoft Word and Email, and who are professional and prompt.
