Marla Delgado-Guerrero, Ph.D., serves as director of the UW–Madison Posse program. A champion of mentoring in higher education and a three-time Badger graduate, Dr. Delgado-Guerrero earned her bachelor’s degree in family and consumer journalism, her certificate in Chican@ and Latin@ studies, her M.S. in counseling in higher education and her Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Before rejoining UW to lead the Posse program, she served six years at Marquette University as an adjunct professor and a mental health practitioner. She has been honored with UW–Madison’s Outstanding Women of Color Award, has been inducted into the UW–Madison chapter of the Bouchet Graduate Honor Society and was named one of Wisconsin’s 34 Most Powerful Latino Leaders by Madison365.
