The next cultural competency listen and learn in the School of Nursing has been rescheduled for Friday, March 31 from 12-1 pm in Cooper Hall 1227. We have invited Erica Nelson from the Race to Equity project to discuss strategic updates they have made in the areas of criminal justice, education, health and other sectors of the City of Madison and Dane County to address the disparities outlined in the original report. We hope to have another fruitful discussion on how nurses and health care professionals can transform the health care field to ensure equitable, safe, and quality care for all populations.
