The inaugural UW-Madison Latino Heritage Month celebration kicks off tonight with the 6th Annual SuperMercado Latin hosted by Lambda Theta Phi in the Amulni Lounge o the Pyle Center from 5 .m. to 8 p.m.
“A Legacy of History, A Future of Success and A Presence of Action,” will encompass more than a dozen events through Saturday, Oct. 11. Highlight events include a comunity service and workshops offered by the the Latin@ Law Student Assoication and Black Law Student Association, opportunities to learn about Latino cultural medicine, spirituality and healing rituals, and the Domestic Abuse Interventionn Charity Ball hosted by OWLS in CUS from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, in Memorial Union’s Great Hall.
