The American Indian Studies Program (AISP) of the University of Wisconsin-Madison
seeks to provide and maintain the highest levels of education, scholarship, leadership,
and support to all students, staff, and faculty at the University. AISP offers a one-time,
nonrenewable scholarship to students who are pursuing a Certificate in American Indian
Studies. Applicants must have declared the certificate and need financial assistance.
The scholarship is open to full-time undergraduate students for education-related costs
such as tuition, books, childcare and transportation.
One scholarship of $600 is awarded each year.
Eligibility:
- full-time undergraduate student
- pursuing a certificate in American Indian Studies
- need financial assistance.
Application Process:
Write a 250-word essay on your goals, achievements, financial need, and reason(s) for
pursuing a certificate in American Indian Studies.
Application deadline: November 6, 2017, 5:00PM
Selection:
The AIS Faculty will review applications and select the recipient.
