The 6th cohort of the First Wave Hip Hop Theatre Ensemble will perform this Friday, November 30 in the Margaret H’Doubler Performance Space, Lathrop Hall at 3:30 pm. First Wave’s newest group of artist-scholars present gripping work tackling a multitude of topics, including body image, party culture, identity, home, and others. These works, pulled from sources both personal and political, are the building blocks for their full-length performances to premiere at the 2013 Line Breaks Festival, running March 13-20 in Lathrop’s H’Doubler Performance Space.
