Mellon grant will support Chazen’s ‘re:mancipation’ collaboration
The Chazen Museum of Art has been awarded a $250,000 grant from the Mellon Foundation to augment re:mancipation, a collaboration with artist Sanford Biggers addressing artwork that glorifies racism. The Mellon grant will support a documentary, symposium, website and curriculum materials. re:mancipationopens in February 2023.
