Sofia Garcia Garbuno

Sofia came to UW–Madison as a Mercile J Lee Scholar in 2018 from Illinois. After graduating in Spring ’22 with a Bachelor of Science in Education Studies, Sofia continued on to earn a Master of Science in Higher Education – Student Affairs from the Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis (ELPA) Department. Sofia was also a DDEEA student intern from 2019-2022 and served as the Project Assistant for the DDEEA internship program from 2022-2024 during her time at UW-Madison.

With robust experience at UW–Madison, Sofia is excited to continue working at the DDEEA and support growth opportunities for students on our campus.
