Don’t miss February 27th Third Annual Wisconsin Statewide Pre-Law Diversity Day

Please join our University of Wisconsin Law School for the Third Annual Wisconsin Statewide Pre-Law Diversity Day!

This free event will be held on Friday, February 27, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison.

Law schools, the legal profession, and our wider communities benefit significantly from the experiences and perspectives that diverse students bring to the study and practice of law. We hope you will join us for a program that will provide important practical information and resources tailored to the particular issues and concerns faced by minorities considering careers in the law.

This event will bring together students, advisors and admissions representatives to discuss applications, trends, and opportunities in legal education. Though specifically tailored to advisors and minority pre-law students from Wisconsin and neighboring states, all pre-law students and advisors are welcome at this event which is intended to help attendees gain a better understanding of both the admissions process and the study of law.

We anticipate a busy and exciting day full of activities, including an update on law school admissions trends featuring University of Wisconsin and Marquette Law Schools, an overview of the Law School Admission Test with practice questions, and breakout workshops featuring a mock class for students and a mock admissions file review session for pre-law advisors.

Afterwards, admissions representatives from law schools around the country will be on hand to meet with advisors and students during the Law School Fair. We have close to 30 law schools registered so far! For more information or to register for the Wisconsin Statewide Pre-Law Diversity Day, please visit our website.
