Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement Sponsors Men of Color Summit

The Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement is proud to be a platinum-level sponsor of this year’s Men of Color Summit.

This student-led summit aims to provide a platform for individuals from diverse backgrounds to come together and discuss strategies for achieving self-actualization despite societal marginalization. We recognize the challenges that all men of color face in achieving their full potential and aim to equip participants with support and practical tools to navigate obstacles on this path. Through sharing experiences, knowledge, and resources, we hope to inspire and empower all men of color to embrace their unique identities and thrive in their personal and professional lives. ALL ARE WELCOME to join us for a transformative experience of personal growth, community building, and actionable insights toward achieving self-actualization.

“I am thrilled that the DDEEA is sponsoring this year’s Men of Color Summit,” said Dr. Raul Leon, assistant vice provost for student engagement and scholarship programs. “Embracing our unique experiences as men of color sparks meaningful conversations, paving the way for open dialogue that, in turn, cultivates innovative solutions to the diverse set of challenges before us. This event aligns perfectly with the DDEEA’s mission – to cultivate an environment of diversity, inclusivity, and excellence by fostering a vibrant learning and working environment for our campus community and beyond.”
