International Women’s Day is observed each year on March 8. It is a day when we take time to acknowledge the achievements that women have made, from our local Madison area to across the nation and world.
The purpose of the event is to bring together women and girls from all backgrounds to celebrate the tremendous efforts by women and girls around the world in shaping a more equal future and recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
