UW–Madison’s Junior Faculty of Color organization will host First Friday Happy Hours and Tuesday Writing Groups during the fall 2021 semester.
The group aims to build a supportive community where racially minoritized assistant professors can celebrate, support and share information with each other. Its structure is informal and based upon what the group wants.
First Friday Happy Hour
- Oct. 1, 4-7 p.m., Olbrich Park – Walter Street Picnic Shelter (502 Walter Street)
- Nov. 5, 4-7 p.m., location TBD
- Dec. 3, 4-7 p.m., location TBD
Tuesday Writing Group: Every Tuesday starting Oct. 5, 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., on Zoom
