Angela Yee to Headline Welcome Event for DDEEA Scholars

Students enrolled in scholarship and service programs within the Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement (DDEEA) are invited to a virtual welcome event on Monday, Sept. 14, from 5:45 to 7:30 p.m.

The event will be headlined by Angela Yee, award-winning syndicated radio star from Brooklyn, New York, who co-hosts “The Breakfast Club” on NY’s Power 105.1 and the “Lip Service” podcast.

Students enrolled in the below DDEEA scholarship and service programs are welcome to attend this free event:

  • Center for Educational Opportunity (CeO)
  • First Wave Hip Hop and Urban Arts Learning Community
  • Mercile J. Lee Scholars Program
  • Posse
  • Precollege Enrichment Opportunity Program for Learning Excellence (PEOPLE)

Scholars will receive links from their program staff to register for and join the event. Contact your advisor or other program staff if you haven’t received an email with instructions in your @wisc.edu email account.
