Congratulations to Eloisa Negrete, the randomly selected winner of the Week 14 DIP Raffle Giveaway, who has been awarded a gift bag of items donated by the University Bookstore.
Thank you to Eloisa for submitting five initiatives highlighting several programs and support services provided through the Office of Talent Management. These initiatives serve to enhance communication, cultural understanding, and learning within multilingual work environments.
The Volunteer Tutoring Program, Workplace English Language Learning Classes, Translation Interpretation Services Program, and Employee Workplace Center all stand to provide English language tutoring and classes, along with translation services, to build language skills for limited English speaking employees. These programs and services serve as a platform for facilitating communication within the workplace and give the opportunity for employees to pursue individual educational and professional goals. Mini Lessons on Language and Culture provides sessions for employees to attend and immerse in conversation around UW-Madison and American culture and language.
