John Herrington, the first enrolled Native American astronaut, shared his career journey with students, faculty, community members, and elders on Nov. 17.
A member of the Chickasaw Nation, Herrington was a mission specialist on the space shuttle Endeavour for itsmission to the International Space Station in 2003.
