Multicultural Graduate Network Dine Around Event

The Multicultural Graduate Network Dine Around provides an opportunity for graduate students to present their research at an intimate gathering of graduate students and Graduate School staff members. The event begins with participants presenting their research, continues with thoughtful discussions between the audience and the presenters about the research projects, and ends with a reception that allows for more informal conversations. Audience members are encouraged to provide written feedback on the presentations throughout the event. This feedback is compiled by the MGN and sent to each of the presenters to help them strengthen future presentations.

Graduate students interested in presenting at Dine Around are invited to submit a short proposal and a brief personal biography (bio), which will be reviewed by a committee of graduate students across several disciplines and Graduate School staff members.  Students are especially encouraged to apply if the implications of their research could be used to improve outcomes for under-represented and/or underserved populations, whether in the near future or further off.
