Meet Virgil Abloh ’03, Red Shirt Limited Edition Designer

RED Talks

October 15 – 7:00PM – 8:30PM
Gordon Dining and Event Center 770 W. Dayton Street, Madison, WI53715

Get inspired by fellow Badgers at this year’s RED Talks, featuring Gabriel Stulman ’03, a restaurateur and the owner of Joseph Leonard, Perla, Bar Sardine, and several other restaurants in New York City; and Virgil Abloh ’03, creator of the Off-White Brand, creative director for Kanye West, and the owner of RSVP Gallery. These former UW roommates held true to the dreams of their future pursuits while on campus: Abloh was a DJ, and Stulman served drinks at a local bar called Café Montmartre, the eventual source of the name for one of his restaurants. Space is limited, and this event will draw a crowd. Please plan accordingly. Sponsored by the UW Homecoming Committee, the Wisconsin Alumni Association® (WAA), and the Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement (DDEEA).

The Red Shirt™, Limited Edition
We’ve teamed up with Virgil Abloh to bring a new twist to The Red Shirt for a limited time this fall. This cutting-edge designer has applied his unique brand of elevated street style to the classic University of Wisconsin T-shirt to create three new designs. From October 12-30, these shirts will be available in store and online with proceeds benefiting the Virgil Abloh Fund in support of student scholarships at UW-Madison.
