DDEEA Crisis Support

If the options above are insufficient or unable to meet your needs, you may be eligible for additional financial support of up to $500 from the Division of Diversity, Equity & Educational Achievement (DDEEA). To be eligible for DDEEA crisis support, you must be a current student actively enrolled in the semester you are seeking support and affiliated with a DDEEA student program (see the complete list of programs) or the DDEEA Internship Program.

If you meet those conditions, talk with your program advisor or a program administrator about how to apply for emergency financial support.

This document provides support resources in the community beyond campus.

Crisis Hotline

Financial emergencies can cause intense emotional and psychological stress. If you need someone to talk to, or if you’re concerned about the well-being of someone else, call the UHS 24-hour Crisis Services hotline at 608-265-5600 (option 9).
