Every year for the past 20 years, standout undergraduate student researchers share their findings on a wide array of subjects with legislators, community members, and leaders from the state and university. Students from all over the Universities of Wisconsin and every corner of the state come to this event called ‘Research in the Rotunda‘ to showcase their important work.
On March 6, the 20th anniversary of the event, Madeleine Allen, a Posse and McNair Scholar, presented her work titled “Effective Inclusion of Family Caregivers into the Mental Healthcare Team for Older Veterans with Memory Loss: Clinician Perspectives.”
Allen worked on this poster with Dr. Mary Wyman for the better part of a year and on March 6, 2024, she got the opportunity to emphasize the significance of her research on Wisconsin and society at large. At the rotunda, Allen explained her research to stakeholders who were unfamiliar with the topic at hand.
