Jon Greendeer is a proud member of the Ho-Chunk Nation and a student of the language and traditional way of life. As a member of the Deer Clan, he is a worker, a messenger and a caretaker of our earth. He believes that Indigenous People have thwarted genocide yet contend with a number of elements designed to erase their profound and truly unique identity.

Candi Brings Plenty is a Queer Indigenous, Two Spirit, cis Oglala Lakota Sioux Activist & Spiritual Practitioner. She is a direct descendant of Crazy Horse’s band and honors her Aztec Mexica ancestry. She is the founder of the Standing Rock Two Spirit Nation encampment and continues to stand in the face of the colonizer to protect the sacred.
