Wisconsin Open Education Community Fellowship (WOECF) targets UW undergrads, offers $3,000

Come learn about a NEW $3,000 fellowship exclusively for in-state UW-Madison undergrads!

We will be holding an information session about the program THIS WEEK, Wednesday (Feb. 18) at 5:30 pm at the Morgridge Center for Public Service (154 Red Gym). Come join us!

Come learn about an opportunity to use your knowledge and skills related to conservation, climate, and/or literacy/theater topics to benefit your Wisconsin hometown this summer. Not only does this fellowship offer each student fellow a $3,000 stipend, it also includes excellent opportunities to:

  • Work with a public service organization in your Wisconsin hometown
  • Develop valuable service and research experience
  • Prepare for life after graduation in either graduate school or a professional setting
  • Develop a public service project broadly aligned with one or more topics of a current Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) offered by UW-Madison

So, if you are interested in a funded opportunity to work with a community organization in your hometown this summer, learn more about the WOECF and how to apply. Applications are due March 26, 2015, but space is limited, so start your application today! Those students who submit their application by March 12 will receive feedback from the program sponsors and have the opportunity to revise and resubmit their application by the March 26 deadline.

If you have any questions, please email Dave Lassen (dlassen@wisc.edu) or Randy Wallar (randy.wallar@wisc.edu).
