UW WOMEN AT 150, PAST AND PRESENT

In 1869, Clara Bewick, Anna Headen, Jane Nagle, Helen Noble, Elizabeth Spencer and Ella Ursula Turner became the first women to receive undergraduate degrees from UW–Madison. This video, played for thousands of 2019 graduates and visitors to view at commencement, features students and university officials from the present day, highlighting some of the highs and lows that make up 150 years of women at the UW as we continue our observance of UW Women at 150.
