Research for Equitable & Inclusive Learning Environments

UW Voices - Research for Equitable  Inclusive Learning EnvironmentsA workshop led by the Wisconsin Equity & Inclusion Laboratory, “Research for Equitable & Inclusive Learning Environments: A Campus Development Platform,” will be held Tuesday, March 17, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Union South.  This professional development session will put research into practice to further advance insight and discovery around the Wisconsin pipeline, learning environments, institutional decision-making, and sustainable community partnerships.

The mission of Wisconsin’s Equity and Inclusion Laboratory (Wei LAB) is to design, conduct, and disseminate research that informs policymakers, practitioners, and concerned citizens on how to best promote equitable and inclusive learning and work environments in education in general, and higher education in particular. The LAB’s research agenda and priorities seek to engage the most difficult and important equity and inclusion topics confronting the educational system. In turn, the goal of the Wei LAB is to emerge as a national leader and champion for equitable and inclusive educational organizations.

The LAB serves as an impactful research agent of the University and engages the most difficult and important equity and inclusion topics confronting the educational system.
