Congratulations to Tom Browne, the randomly-selected winner of the Week 1 DIP Pilot Raffle Giveaway, who has been awarded four (4) tickets to a UW Women’s Volleyball home game for the 2017 season, donated by UW Athletics.
Thank you to Tom for submitting an initiative for the BioCommons Tutorial Support Program. This initiative is a support service available for CALS students enrolled in foundation upper level science courses. Hired tutors provide small group exam preparation for students, as well as review course material. The goal is to develop a consistent community of study group attendees to have regular question and answer time in a space that helps address commonly expressed concerns, particularly for URM or first generation students, of difficulty navigating the process of getting help and finishing others to study with.
We would like to send a big thank you to ALL who have reported information into DIP. The initiatives you submit are invaluable in helping to bring awareness of campus resources and fostering future collaborations.
