Outstanding DDEEA Alumni Achievement News

Dr. Kaylene Fiala, (Chancellor’s Scholar ’15) and (M.D. ’17 UWSMPH) will begin residency in Child Neurology at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Ill., this summer.

Dr. Matt Murphy, (Powers-Knapp Scholar ’12) and (M.D. ’17 UWSMPH) will begin residency in Emergency Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital (Washington University) in St. Louis, Mo., this summer.

Dr. Paj Ntaub Vang, (Powers-Knapp Scholar ’10), (M.P.H. ’12 UWSMPH) and (M.D. ’17 UWSMPH) will begin residency in Family Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Appleton, Wis., this summer.

Dr. Tessa Warner, (Chancellor’s Scholar ’12) and (M.D. ’17 UWSMPH) will begin residency in Emergency Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S.C., this summer.

Maichou Lor (PEOPLE ‘11), (M.S.N. ’12 UWSMPH) Ph.D. Nursing ’17 UWSMPH) will be working on her post doctorate at Columbia University.

Natasha Crooks (PEOPLE  ’13) and (Ph.D. Nursing ’17 UWSMPH) has completed her Doctorate Degree in Nursing.

Dr. Akaila Cabell (PEOPLE ‘11) and (M.D. ’17 UWSMPH) will be doing her Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Stanford University Medical Center.

Avelene Adler (PEOPLE ’14) and (D.P.T. Physical Therapy ’17 UWSMPH) completed her Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
