Innovation Grant Applications due March 6

The Grant Funding System, operated by the Office of the Vice Provost and Chief Diversity Officer and the Division of Diversity, Equity and Educational Achievement, is again available to receive proposals.  The program is designed to strategically share resources with our campus and community partners in diversity.

The GFS provides small start-up grants of up to $5,000 for innovative proposals to expand the university’s capacity build and support a diverse, inclusive and respectful environment.  Proposed projects should build on the UW-Madison diversity framework, Forward Together.

Examples of capacity-building activities include the development and dissemination of knowledge on race, ethnicity, culture and indigeneity through research, teaching, and performance.

Eligible funding partners include registered student organizations (RSOs), UW-Madison departments, units and divisions.  Only funding applications submitted through the GFS portal will be considered.  Submissions will be considered by date of receipt, and although applications can be submitted on a rolling basis, they will only be reviewed during the academic year.
