Book Talk with Clifton Conrad: Educating a Diverse Nation

Join us on Thursday, April 23, for a Book Talk with Clifton Conrad: Educating a Diverse Nation from 12 p.m. noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Wisconsin Idea Room (159) of the Education Building.  There will be a discussion and spirited dialogue led by Clifton Conrad, Vilas Distinguished Professor of Higher Education at UW-Madison, about his recently published book, Educating a Diverse Nation: Lessons from Minority Serving Institutions, which was co-authored by Marybeth Gasman. Topics will include the challenges nontraditional college students face and innovative practices that advance their persistence and learning.
