Black History Month Program: African Americans in Wisconsin

Please join us for a special Black History Month Program: African Americans in Wisconsin on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Urban League of Greater Madison, 2222  S. Park St. in Madison. The event is free and open to the public.

Hosted by the Wisconsin Historical Society and Kojo Production’s  Mystery of Black History series, Tanika Apaloo will present on the new Wisconsin Historical Society traveling display “Crossing the Line: Milwaukee Fair Housing Marches of 1967-1968.”  Also, Harvey Long will present on Madison’s Earl Black Readers and Michael Edmonds will present on African Americans in Wisconsin through the centuries.
