The 2016 Multicultural Leadership Awards (MLA) will be held on Monday, May 2nd at 7pm in Gordon Dining & Event Center Commons. The Multicultural Leadership Awards program was developed to recognize contributions made by student leaders, multicultural organizations, and staff all across campus. In addition to student leaders and multicultural organizations, the MSC staff recognizes the accomplishments of our graduating students of color as well.
I am reaching out to you with the hope that you might submit a nomination for a student leader/group you might have worked with or advised this academic year. We want to make sure to recognize the tremendous leadership our students of color bring to the UW community. Nominations can be submitted at http://msc.wisc.edu/mla by April 8th. The nomination form is fairly short and shouldn’t take too long to complete.
